TruBalance Financial LLC is debt collection agency operating in the State of California and is licensed by the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI). Our goal is to work with consumers respectfully and in compliance with applicable federal and state law.


FEDERAL CONSUMER DISCLOSURE


This communication is from a debt collector. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.


CALIFORNIA CONSUMER DISCLOSURE


The state Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act require that, except under unusual circumstances, debt collectors may not contact you before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m., may not harass you, and must provide certain information upon request. For more information about your rights, you may contact the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI).


YOUR RIGHT TO DISPUTE THE DEBT

Unless you notify this office within thirty (30) days after receiving your initial written notice that you dispute the validity of this debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by this office. If you notify us in writing within thirty (30) days that the debt, or any portion of it, is disputed, we will obtain verification of the debt and mail a copy of such verification to you. Upon written request within the thirty (30) day period, we will also provide you with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor. Disputes should be submitted in writing to the mailing address listed above or by email at info@trubalancefinancial.com.


COMMUNICATION POLICY

TruBalance Financial LLC may communicate with consumers by telephone, mail, or electronic communication as permitted by law. Consumers may request limitations on certain methods of communication by contacting our office in writing. If calls are recorded, they are recorded for quality assurance, training, and compliance purposes. We will not communicate with you at times or places known to be inconvenient, and we will comply with all legally valid cease communication requests.


PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payments may be made online, by phone, or by mail. Payments are voluntary unless required pursuant to a court order or written agreement. Partial payments do not constitute full settlement of an account unless expressly agreed to in writing. Any settlement offer must be confirmed in writing by TruBalance Financial LLC. Funds received will be applied in accordance with the terms of your agreement and applicable law. If a payment is returned for insufficient funds or is reversed through a chargeback, the account balance may be reinstated to the extent permitted by law. Upon satisfaction of the account balance or fulfillment of a written settlement agreement, confirmation may be provided upon request.


ONLINE PAYMENTS & PAYPAL DISCLOSURE

Online payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors, including PayPal. When you select the PayPal option, a secure PayPal payment window will open to process your transaction. TruBalance Financial LLC does not store your credit card, debit card, or bank account information. Payment information submitted through PayPal is subject to PayPal's terms of service and privacy policy. By submitting an online payment, you authorize the electronic transfer of funds in the amount you designate. You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.


PRIVACY NOTICE

TruBalance Financial LLC collects personal information necessary to service accounts, process payments, respond to inquiries, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, payment processors, consumer reporting agencies (if applicable), and regulatory authorities as permitted or required by law. California residents may request information regarding personal data collected about them and may request deletion of personal information where legally permissible. Requests may be submitted to info@trubalancefinancial.com. We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.


CREDIT REPORTING PRACTICES

If applicable, TruBalance Financial LLC may furnish information about your account to consumer reporting agencies in accordance with federal and state law. If an account is disputed, it may be reported as disputed while the investigation is pending. Upon resolution or satisfaction of the account, updates will be reported as required by law.
